The Steel Conference NASCC is the leading event for the structural steel industry in the USA, where we presented bocad at our own booth. The interest in bocad was overwhelming and very well received. We thank all visitors for their interest and their openness!

We had a great debut in San Antonio as we presented SC bocad to the members of the National Institute of Steel Detailing (NISD). It was an honor to connect with the industry leaders and showcase our innovative solutions for structural design.

Kick-off 2024 for the S&C family
Personal relationships characterise the S&C team despite the great distances: the longest journey to the S&C Kick-off 2024 in Königstein in the Taunus region was 10,000 kilometers. The S&C family now spans several continents and countries: Kuala Lumpur, India, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria and various regions of Germany. Over the course of three intensive days, owners Helmut Schuller and Martina Sternberg-Schuller set the course for the growing team.

This year's bocad user meeting was organised to celebrate the 40th anniversary and the new dynamism of SCHULLER&Company. Around 200 participants and guests travelled to Bochum, more than in the previous year.

SCHULLER&Company strengthens training with the founding of the bocademy
Eschborn/Bochum, March 2024. Software competence optimizes the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of design projects. This is why SCHULLER&Company (S&C) has created the bocademy to make training with bocad easy, enjoyable, and effective for beginners, professionals, and students. A new e-learning format complements the classroom and online training courses. In learning videos, the bocad team provides practical tips for
everyday design work. Cooperation with universities is also being expanded. At Wrocław University of Technology, the first students have successfully completed their dissertations using bocad designs.
Software expertise and the transfer of know-how are crucial for realizing buildings and optimizing the efficiency, accuracy, quality, and safety of construction projects. "With the bocademy, we want to reach the new generation and get them excited about bocad, as well as support specialists in their demanding tasks," explains Helmut Schuller, owner, and CEO of SCHULLER&Company.

bocad new version 2024: SmartInfo, point cloud, reference models, BIM, cloud licences
Bochum, January 2024. The bocad team will be presenting the latest version of bocad 2024 at the budma trade fair in Poznan and digitalBau in Cologne. The release has significant improvements to the user interface, BIM capability, collaboration, quality assurance and flexible working. All new functions increase ease of use and working speed as well as data exchange between project participants.
SmartInfo – the turbo database query for model checking
One highlight of the release is the addition of SmartInfo to the SmartFunctions. With this turbo database query, a very quick and simple model check can be carried out for checking purposes. SmartInfo immediately displays the information on a part or a bolt (Figure 1). When the cursor points to the desired element; it is highlighted in colour in all views and drawings (Figure 2). The information such as mark number, material and profile can be configured individually by the user. The function is simply switched on and off using the F1/2 key. bocad user meeting 2023 with new dynamics under SCHULLER&Company
Bochum, 27 November 2023: This year's bocad user meeting was marked by the 40th anniversary and the new dynamic of SCHULLER&Company. Around 200 participants and guests came to Bochum, more than the year before. The agenda included the keynote speech by founder Prof. Pegels as guest of honor as well as the presentation of the new software version 2024 and the plans for 2024.
