Roof and Timber Cologne 2010

Germany´s bocad Software GmbH, one of the Europe´s leading software houses for sophisticated CAD/CAM solutions, is back from a highly successful appearance at ROOF+TIMBER International 2010, the specialty trade show for roof and timber construction held from February 24 – 27 in Cologne, Germany. With more than 470 exhibitors and some 42.000 Visitors, ROOF+TIMBER International gave bocad a welcome opportunity to rub shoulders with a savvy international crowd of roofers, carpenters, plumbers, architects and enginners.

The outstanding turnout at ROOF+TIMBER International in Cologne impressively confirmed the role of this specialty trade show as one of the most important venues of its kind. Especially in today´s tough economic climate, the venue gave visitors a welcome start to a new year that hopefully bodes better for the construction industry than previous years.

Visitors to the bocad exhibit were able to learn more about the company´s flgship products, bocad-3D and bocad-PS. According to Markus Ehmke, a marketing executive based at bocad headquarters in Bochum, Germany, the general tenor amongst visitors was extremely favorable with respect to bocad´s solutions, wich provide a convincing focal point in an industry otherwise awash in a vast ocean of CAD/CAM programs. In particular, fairgoers with an industrial background welcomed the innovative and efficent mix of solutions and services avaliable from the Bochum-based software house.
