bocad-3D Log House is used by manufacturers of log buildings and  garden houses, in carpenter´s shops and timber construction companies. This programme provides you with the functions you need to construct log walls, joists and simple to complex roofs. Of course, you can also generate any kind of free construction from the world of general wood construction.

bocad-3D Log House provides you with automated support for constructing log walls, ceilings and roofs. To create the walls, the structure is entered with the dimensions of the boards. The walls are installed and the openings for the windows and doors are positioned. It is all cut to size automatically to match the roof. The saddle notches and log screw fastenings are then implemented. The ground plan of the building and the roof profiles are defined for the roof construction. Once the roof design has been set up, the roof areas are adapted individually. The insertion of dormers, skylights, chimneys and roofing timber completes the roof construction. The areas and openings are defined for ceilings. The allocation of ceiling beams and partitions is performed automatically. Ceiling joists, partitioning board and rim boards can then be added. You can install three-dimensional components with any kind of cross section, profile and material for free constructions.

The building model gains detail as members are processed and wood and steel connections are produced. Numerous catalogues from manufacturers of fittings also provide you with support. The collision check immediately shows you where rework is required. Endless views and cross sections can be opened to provide the ideal overview of the model and individual components at any time. Clearly represented drawings for individual components and elements, with the requisite views, cross sections, dimension lines, parts lists, drawing borders and text fields, are produced automatically by bocad-3D.

All the processing steps are saved together with the project and can thus be cancelled or restored using the undo / redo function in bocad-3D - even days later. Established interfaces are used to exchange data with other CAD systems. The package can be upgraded with optional interfaces to CNC machines, e.g. joining systems.
