Every order can be structured by means of an unlimited number of subsystems, grids and main work levels.
A geometry package by means of that constructively important points can be defined unequivocally, guarantees the desired precision in the construction. The components generated with the modules Steel, Glass, Roof&Wall or Wood can be processed with the bocad-3D-Basis Modul. Clipping, extending, adjusting, cutting off and distributing are only some performances of the extensive basic functionality.
Essential and central component in bocad-3D Basis is the filtering and controlling. Beside the usual collision controls between components, also collisions of screws and their installation practicality are checked.
The designer gets aware of the importance of the bocad-3D-Filter when he wants to find determined prefabricated components with help of different qualities in a construction model. Here, is not only possible to search by profile names or determinations. Times of generation and modification can be applied just as easily as search criterions like technological information.
If the filter and control functions are combined with the diverse possibilities of the presentation of components, connection means, measuring chains and graphics, only the relevant information that is necessary for the one determined purpose is presented and evaluated.
Among the important functions of presentation, it is a special advantage that cut components are presented with hatching according to their material and determinations are placed without collision. This is so important because bocad-3D does not distinguish between model and drawing. Therefore, a drawing containing different overviews, cuts and details is created during the design process.
It is also possible to use a presentation with shadows reflections of the project in order to support the design.
