The entry to the 3D modelling with bocad-3D is carried out by installing a grid that enables the orientation in the area. This grid can either be the one the customer pre-determined or an arbitrary one, that later is supplemented in the design progress.
On request, bocad-3D offers to construct in certain levels with selectable standards. Experience shows that this operation of working is preferred compared to dimensional model for it offers the advantage to generate directly ready drawings with several overviews, cuts and details. Thus, the drawing develops also with additional measuring chains and graphics like at the drawing board.
By means of performances like “Parallel", “Perpendicular" or “Intersection" from the geometry package points are generated precisely.
The processing of the initially raw parts, that can be installed either at these exact points or as well freely, is carried out with the construction methods or the individual possibilities of the detail package. Here, performances like copying, mirroring, distributing, adjusting, clipping and cutting apart are available.
Connection means like screws or seams are automatically and correctly generated and determine-declared as workshop connections-the assembly positions.
All constructive works can be checked by means of diverse controls in order to guarantee a high extent of production and installation security.
If workshop drawings and bills of material of the achieved design phase shall be derived, the common components detection with positioning is executed at first. Here, bocad-3D offer diverse modifications those allow an automation degree for the evaluations as high as possible.
