The bocad-3D Stahl Modul (Steel Module) is conceived in such a way that all processes, that make sense from a technical point of view in the area of steel construction, can be carried out. Among other things, that means cutting at any angle, punching, round, rectangular or polygonal openings, dimensional cuts, also of tubes, adjusting to a dimensional outside contour, profile splitting and adding, etc.
Over 5500 profiles are available with their technological data for the construction of the model.
You can find just as much profiles from Germany as from the USA, India and many more countries.
Concerning special constructions, bocad – 3D Stahl Modul (Steel Module) offers special profiles like conic profiles, girder from sheet metal, trapeze profiles, etc.
The delivery of the bocad – 3D Stahl Modul (Steel Module) also includes a detailed library of screws and dowels containing more than 170 registries. The sets registered for each connection mean can easily by supplemented or modified. Thus, the screw lengths depending of the clamped thickness are determined automatically.
The corresponding wedge plates are automatically used in appliances with profiles with inclined flanges.
Welding seams represent in bocad-3D, beside the screws, another construction element.
All kind of seams in various versions that are typical for the steel construction can be found.
Screws and seams carried out in factory have an assembly structure that the common component detection can automatically identify and classify according to the usual rules applied in steel construction.
The delivery of bocad – 3D Stahl Modul (Steel Module) also includes the rules in the area of steel construction for the graphical presentation of the drawings for the survey, main positions and components as well the bills of material. The drawing and bill of material modules carry out the corresponding evaluation. These rules can be stored as well according to customers or orders’ characteristics.
