bocad-NC works based on the NC-DSTV interface recommended by Deutscher Stahlbauverband (German Association for Constructional Steelwork) which today is supported by nearly all suppliers of programs and manufacturers of machines as international standard. bocad-NC can be applied in technical offices, in the process planning or directly at NC-machines.
With the help of bocad-NC, the user can read and administrate NC-DSTV-files from CAD appliances. Member data which are only available in a conventionally established design drawing can be adopted with the help of the graphic input. By means of the graphic surface it is possible to carry out an easy and fault-free working. All standard profiles are registered in the database. Therefore, it is not possible to make errors in the basic geometry. Constructional modifications such as drillings, cuts, etc, are carried out in individual views of the member. The graphical representation of the member develops with each input. Therefore, input errors are immediately visible.
