bocad-PS Plate Nesting is an optimization system for sheet metal nesting, whose form and content can be easily adjusted to the appropriate machines. Users of bocad-PS Plate Nesting are steel fabricators with their own production, as well as sheet metal fabricators. bocad-PS Plate Nesting can be run on Windows / Linux PCs, alone or in conjunction with other bocad-PS products.
With bocad-PS Plate Nesting data can be taken from bocad-3D and be processed across various tasks. A data import of DXF, DSTV and CSV data is likewise possible. The user can also add supplemental plates interactively. The cut optimization is effected with regard to existing delivery materials, or from remaining pieces of previous cut optimizations. The result of the automatic optimization is graphically portrayed and afterwards can be worked on manually if desired.
