Bochum, 13 September 2023. The new update of bocad 2023 brings enhancements in user comfort, visualisation, collaboration, productivity, performance, and detailing. SCHULLER&Company has released the latest version of bocad version.
With the third major release in 2023, the construction software bocad addresses customer requests and resolves details to optimize performance, productivity, collaboration, and user comfort. New features, visual enhancements, optimized displays, simplified data imports and exports characterize this release. The most significant innovations include:
Icons: Enhanced Colour Contrasts and New Symbols
A significant change in the toolbar is the visual representation of icons. The icons have been made more distinct through color and contours, making them easier to identify with improved contrast. Users can now quickly grasp and select icons, facilitating construction and increasing productivity. bocad features over 12,500 icons across all trades, including steel, roofing, wood, glass, towers, and offshore, reflecting the depth of tools available.

The unit includes the software bocad and 30 employees, who will continue to work at the locations Bochum, Liège and Ostrow. bocad is a leading software for planning and design in the field of steel, timber and facade construction as well as offshore plants with a focus on detailing. The up-and-coming digitization specialist SCHULLER&Company has further expanded its portfolio for digital twins in construction as well as industrial plant engineering with bocad.
