This e-learning basic course combines the training courses "bocad Basics I" and "bocad Basics II". You will acquire in-depth knowledge of bocad Steel and practise this using practical examples. You will receive a free bocad license throughout the course so that you can put what you have learned into practice immediately.
The e-learning consists of an interactive and contemporary learning platform, with
75 videos of 10 to 60 minutes per course
Continuous personal support from the trainer for the entire duration of the course
Exercises and solution videos with practical tips
15 chapters: The content builds on each other. A new chapter can only be started once the previous one has been completed.
Live Q&A sessions twice a week, which are recorded
bocad forum: Users contribute questions and ideas, which are answered by the trainer and other users.
Knowledge base: explanatory videos and text documents on common questions and problems
Access to the learning platform via desktop and Android/iOS app
bocad STEEL – 30 DAYS – LICENSE
Participation time: 30 days, entry possible at any time
Completion time: The course is designed to be completed over 10 days, with 4 to 8 hours per day scheduled for learning.
Course objective: After successfully completing the course, you will be able to independently create complete steel construction models with bocad - from the 3D model to the machine control.
Certificate: "bocad expert"
For the certificate, all chapters must be completed successively and the final exam must be successfully completed.

Final exam: Creating and evaluating a complete order
On the basis of detailed drawings of a real hall construction, a complete order with overview drawings, individual part drawings, anchor plans and main position drawings is to be created. This also includes exports in file formats such as dxf, dwg, pdf, 3D-pdf, nc data and IFC.
