PROJECT
CHALLENGES

Castel Alu, a subsidiary of the FAYAT Group, was responsible for completely renovating a campus with 4 kilometres of façade. This large-scale project was carried out in precise phases, with technical specifics on each floor.
Although the floors were similar, each façade required detailed modelling and maximum flexibility and adaptability due to its specific features.

ADVANTAGES

Castel Alu was able to:
• Quickly model all façades with high precision.
• Manage project phasing to efficiently oversee production and installation.
• Meet the specific constraints of each area of the building.
- automatically generate assembly plans, machine files and BIM exports
• Work in coordination with other trades thanks to IFC and 3D DWG formats.
This project demonstrates that bocad is ideally suited to complex and lengthy renovations where process optimisation is essential for project success.

'This new project is a key step for Castel Alu in our efforts to digitalise and optimise our processes.
We have placed particular emphasis on developing and automating manufacturing launch sheets to ensure greater fluidity and reduce the risk of errors.
Creating a library of repetitive 3D elements has allowed us to model the project's numerous façades more efficiently, significantly speeding up the design process.
Once these façades had been generated, we made full use of bocad's capabilities to transmit the flow rates and machining operations directly to our machining centres (M.C.), thereby ensuring greater precision and responsiveness.
Thanks to the clarity of the data produced, monitoring the project's progress became more intuitive and efficient.
Finally, 3D visualisation remains a strategic asset, facilitating communication and coordination between production and works teams."
