PROJECT
CHALLENGES
Pedestrian bridge Hagen, Germany:
For the Hagen bridge, Schone und Bruns had to span 132 metres. The supporting structure formed the trough cross-section of two external continuous tubular trusses
(273*10.0 mm).
The deck between the lower chords was made of 12 mm plate and longitudinal ribs.
was formed between the lower chords.
ADVANTAGES
With bocad 3D Schone und Bruns were able to model the bridge including radius and superelevation.
Workshop drawings including lists, detail drawings and steel construction overviews were generated from the design.
Steelwork overviews were generated.
Very helpful was to use the model data for the machines (NC data) and other logistics (bocadPS).
The model was also used for planning the marshalling yard.
