Eschborn, November 2025. With bocad 2026, SCHULLER&Company is taking digital design and collaboration to a new dimension. Complex projects, high time pressure and disruptions in collaboration due to a fragmented software landscape are among the biggest challenges facing the construction industry today. The new version of bocad has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of designers and manufacturing companies: a central database ensures consistent information, automatic updates when changes are made guarantee correct drawings at all times, and a complete overview of all drawings, right down to the manufacturing documents, enhances quality, efficiency and collaboration.

Project platform and smart features
With the OneProject project platform, bocad 2026 takes collaboration to a whole new level. Design engineers, project managers and production planners all access the same database, changes are automatically synchronised and can be traced immediately. OneProject also forms the basis for integration into the Collaboration Suite, the digital twin from SCHULLER&Company.
In addition to the central project platform, new interfaces such as the BCF format strengthen open, cross-disciplinary collaboration. The Clone feature automates recurring work steps: identical components are automatically synchronised in all drawings. SmartDraw ensures transparency in the drawing status and guarantees that only current production documents reach the workshop. With the S&C Webviewer, 3D models can be viewed via QR code on any device without installation, always up to date and understandable for all involved.
Convenient and intuitive features
Progress is also evident in the user interface: customisable shortcuts and the new dark mode make every day work noticeably more convenient and intuitive. bocad is thus adapting to the user behaviour of the younger generation of designers.
