Staircase tower system Swimming pool rocket in Kloten, Switzerland:
A staircase tower system with two box-type water slides, two viewing platforms and access to a water tube slide landscape was created for the fun pool in Kloten. The staircase sculpture is made of galvanised coated steel and stainless steel according to the client's specifications in a sophisticated space outfit. Stahl- und Treppenbau Kuhla GmbH was responsible for the complete steel construction planning, production, pre-assembly and final assembly on site.
ADVANTAGES
The challenge was to use bocad Expert Metalworking, which is designed for smaller structures with limited options for structuring building structures, to realise a structure consisting of many assemblies. The construction consists of many curved profiles, which had to be designed using the features available in bocad Expert Metalworking.
The software requirements were special features for the creation of stair parts for spiral staircases and export as step and 3D DWG for transfer to our client's planning department.
