Thunderbike showroom

Construction and refurbishment of company building in Hamminkeln, Germany:
In 2021, Könning planned and realised a business expansion and conversion for the Harley-Davidson dealer and custom bike builder Thunderbike. Within eight months, an approx. 1,281 m² showroom with sales area and large exhibition was created. Both sandwich panels and a perforated sheet metal façade were used in the renovation of the exterior façade. The company extension was realised in the form of a 911 m² warehouse, consisting of a steel structure and reinforced concrete columns with an aerated concrete firewall to the existing building. The roofs of the warehouse and the approx. 730 m² two-storey workshop with warehouse on the upper floor are made of a fire-retardant steel structure and both have a warm roof structure made of trapezoidal sheet metal and a steel sandwich façade.
